ARM926EJ-S Board Bringup July 2005 - October 2005: The ARM926EJ-S board from ARM is a versatile board. The project requirement is to obtain the kernel and image sources available from the free/open source community, and use them to bring-up the Linux kernel on the board. Responsibilities u-boot, Linux kernel, ethernet, SD/MMC, audio, movie player bring-up on ARM926EJ-S board, and documentation. Environment ARM926EJ-S Versatile board, Intel x86, Linux 2.6 kernel, ARM cross-toolchains. 2. Specsofts' USB OTG ARM Development December 2004 - Present: Specsoft's USB OTG (On-The-Go) ARM development project involves the design, verification and validation of the OTG/host/device core on an ARM platform. The system teams' requirement is to validate the core with firmware/device drivers for OTG, host, EHCI (Enhanced Host Controller Interface) and device. Application for the end-user is also implemented. This project is in progress. Responsibilities: Device driver design, integration of device drivers, troubleshooting, GNU/Linux knowledge transfer, and maintenance. Environment: Intel x86, ARM920T, Linux 2.4 kernel, ARM cross-toolchains. 3. Specsofts' PCI-X September 2004 - November 2004: The project involved the design and validation of the Specsoft PCI-X card. The systems' team requirement was to validate the PCI-X core for memory access and bulk I/O transaction. The project has been completed. Responsibilities: A Linux (2.4) device driver was implemented to test memory read/write operations to the PCI-X card on an Intel x86 system. Subsequently, a block device driver was implemented to perform bulk I/O transactions to the PCI-X memory card. Environment: Intel x86, Linux 2.4 kernel.
