I want to recommend this laptop to anyone in India. Solid build, with Coreboot and I just love the keyboard of the x230 systems. If anyone do not want the latest fancy hardware, this is the best system to get for any student or professional developer.
This is my first ThinkPad. I am running Fedora 30 on this. This is the best keyboard I am using till date. Even the das keyboard or the mechanical keyboard has lost the game in front of X230. The battery is serving well considering its age. In a word, undoubtedly this is the best laptop I have ever used.
The X230 is a really nice laptop and the battery life is great. I am running Debian Stretch on the X230. As a web developer, I run Docker, Node.js and Python servers, and things work pretty smoothly without any hindrance. Everything works really as expected.
